I’m Tyler, the founder of We Gotcha Tutoring.
School didn’t click for me at first. I was bored, distracted, and told I wasn’t good enough for college. I believed it, and ended up working in a car factory. But I knew I wanted more.
Community college flipped the switch. I fell in love with learning and never looked back. I studied math and philosophy in New York City, earned a master’s in data science, and kept chasing ideas that lit me up. Right now, that includes drawing and understanding how the brain actually learns.
I started tutoring to help students who aren’t being fully seen or supported — whether that’s because school feels like a poor fit, life at home is overwhelming, or they just haven’t had someone in their corner yet. That’s what We Gotcha is all about.
